Earlier we saw tons of leaks and renders about the new Huawei Mate 30 series and we finally have the device’s official. Huawei finally raises the curtain from the new Huawei Mate 30, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Porsche Design Huawei Mate 30 RS at Munich. All the three smartphone doesn’t have the Google services installed and comes with Huawei services instead.
The new Huawei Mate 30, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Huawei Mate 30 RS will come with Huawei App Gallery app store from where one can download popular apps whereas there is Huawei Cloud to store all your images and other data. Huawei also launches its own streaming service with Huawei Video that will allow to stream documentaries and popular movies. Further, Huawei will also launch its own browser that would replace Google Chrome.
Huawei Mate 30 & Huawei Mate 30 Pro:
The new Huawei Mate 30 & Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with an all-new circular camera on the back which has now become a trend with all major Chinese OEM’s. Both of them looks exactly similar and comes with metal and glass design with a glossy texture. The new Huawei Mate 30 & Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be available in Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple and Emerald Green colours. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs around 198 grams whereas the Huawei Mate 30 at 196 grams and measures 8.4 mm thick.
The new Huawei Mate 30 sports larger 6.62 inches FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340p) OLED Flat panel with HDR10 and DCI-P3 with smaller notch whereas the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with smaller 6.53 inches OLED Horizon Display with a resolution of 1,176 x 2,400px resolution, HD10+ and DCI-P3 support. It comes with 88-degrees curved sides. The display further comes with Always On Mode and supports the M-Pen stylus support.
The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro will not have any physical keys instead will come with virtual buttons on either side of the device for lowering or increasing the volume or even the shutter button for the camera.
The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro & Huawei Mate 30 is powered by the new Kirin 990 SoC built on 7nm+ EUV process coupled with 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage and option to expand storage via NM card. The new Huawei’s in-house Da Vinci NPU will use AI to auto-rotate which tracks your head to decide the orientation rather than an accelerometer.
Both the Huawei Mate 30 & Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with an IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water-resistant. The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with quad-rear cameras with 40MP primary Ultra-wide Cine sensor 1/1.7″-type sensor and an f/1.6 aperture, another 40MP SuperSensing Wide sensor with 1/1.54″-type sensor with 3:2 aspect ratio with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom and 3D ToF sensor with LED flash. It further comes with dual OIS and AIS support with 4K video recording at 60fps and whopping 7680fps at 720p.
The new Huawei Mate 30 to feature the quad-rear cameras with the same set of 1/1.7″ 40MP sensor with RYYB colour filter and f/1.8 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical and 5x hybrid zoom as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro but comes with 16MP Ultra-Wide Cine sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. All other features remain the same as Mate 30 Pro. The new Huawei Mate 30 comes with 24MP (f/2.0) selfie camera whereas the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with 32MP f/2.0 aperture with 3D ToF camera for facial recognition.
The new Huawei Mate 30 & Huawei Mate 30 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and will support Dolby Atmos. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G support (Huawei Mate 30 5G/ Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G) up to 8 bands world-wide, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual Band Wifi, and 3.5 mm audio jack (Huawei Mate 30 only).
The new Huawei Mate 30 packs lower 4200 mAh battery whereas the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with 4500 mAh battery and supports 40W wired and 27W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge support. Both the new Huawei Mate 30 Pro & Huawei Mate 30 runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top.
The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro with 5G priced at €1,200 (Rs.94,900/-), Huawei Mate 30 Pro 4G variant with 8GB+256GB at €1,100 (Rs.86,900/-) and Huawei Mate 30 with 8GB+128GB at €800 (Rs.63,200/-). Both the Huawei Mate 30 Pro & Huawei Mate 30 will go on sale from today in China and global roll-out to follow from Oct.
PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS:
Further, Huawei also unveiled the ultra-premium PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS along with the Huawei Mate 30 series. The new PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS measures 9.3 mm thick and weighs 198 grams. The new PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS comes with a unique design with glass and leather finish. The new PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS will be available in Black and Red colours.
PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate 30 RS sports the same display as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with 6.53 inches OLED Horizon Display with a resolution of 1,176 x 2,400px resolution, HD10+ and DCI-P3 support.
