Earlier LG has launched an additional accessory along with the LG V50 ThinQ which acted as a secondary display. Now we have the improved version of the case launched alongside with the upgraded version of LG G8 ThinQ with LG G8X ThinQ.
The new LG G8X ThinQ comes with the same unibody design with premium Glass back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides. Further, the device comes with MIL-STD 810G and IP68 certified which makes the device dust and water-resistant.
It will sport 6.4 inches FHD+ HDR10 FullVision OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new LG G8X ThinQ will be powered by the latest SD855 SoC coupled with Snapdragon X50 5G chip. The device will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will feature a microSD card slot and comes with UD fingerprint scanner.
LG G8X ThinQ features Dual rear cameras with 12MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8, Dual PDAF, OIS and secondary 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 1/2.8″, 1.0µm Fixed Focus, f/24 aperture and LED flash. It comes with a single selfie shooter with 32MP Quad-Bayer sensor.
Further, LG G8X ThinQ comes with unique DualScreen case which converts the ordinary phone to foldable one with dual-screen support. The DualScreen is a flip-case accessory that provides another 6.4 inches display along with 2.1 inches monochrome OLED display on the outer part. The DualScreen adds additional weight of 134 grams and connects directly via USB Type-C port and leaves set of pogo pins for charging with an included adapter or wireless charging.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, fingerprint scanner, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack with 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and DTS X3D surround sound. The new LG G8X ThinQ packs 4000 mAh battery and comes with QC 3.0 support. It runs on Android 9 Pie with LG skin on top.
