Motorola launched the new Moto G7 series earlier this year and was overpriced which didn’t make good business. Now Motorola is already planning to launch the successor later this year with Moto G8 series. Earlier we even got the image showing the alleged Moto G8.
Now XDA Developers has just revealed the specs of the cheaper Moto G8 Play. Moto G8 Play sports HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display. As per the FCC listing, the device showing a diagonal of 169mm which converts to 6.65 inches display.
Further, the FCC listing diagram also reveals the Moto G8 Play will arrive with a single rear camera. As per the source, the Moto G8 Play will be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 or P70 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage.
The Moto G8 Play will pack 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. It will arrive in two colours with Iron and Cosmo and will support NFC and Dual SIM. Further, the same source also revealed the specs of the upcoming Moto G8/Plus.
As per the source, the alleged Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus will sport 6.3 inches FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio 2280*1080p display. The alleged Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus will be powered by SD665 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage option.
The Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus will feature triple rear cameras with 48MP primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture) coupled with 16MP 94-degrees wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture) and 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2 aperture) with LED flash. There is a 25MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.
The Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus will run on Android 9 Pie with support for NFC and Dual SIM. The device will arrive in two colours with Red and Blue. Further, the device will come with portrait mode, smart composition, and the Night Vision camera mode.
