Earlier we had seen the US banning the Huawei doing business with American based companies which also includes Google. That led to Huawei developing its own os called Hongmeng OS which later the company denied stating that it would make its way got Huawei smart products and not smartphones.
Now according to Chinese media, Huawei is been testing a smartphone with the new Hongmeng OS. Further, the device is expected to go on sale by the end of this year. As per the reports, the alleged Hongmeng OS based phone would be priced somewhere around 2000 Yuan (Rs.20,000/-) in China.
With Huawei executive announcing that the new Hongmeng OS will be part of IoT system we now have rumours doing rounds about the developing a smartphone. Anyway, the new Huawei smartphone running on Hongmeng OS might not launch on other countries apart from China.
