Earlier we got many leaks showing the renders of the upcoming mid-range smartphone the Vivo Z5. After launching the most popular phone the Vivo Z5x aka Vivo Z1 Pro for India we now got the new Vivo Z5 launched in China. The new Vivo Z5 comes in Black, Blue and Aurora Blue colours and will go on sale from August 6 in China.
The Vivo Z5 with 6GB+64GB is priced at 1598 Yuan (Rs.16,000/-), 6GB+128GB at 1898 Yuan (Rs.19,000/-), 6GB+256GB at 1998 Yuan (Rs.20,000/-) and 8GB+128GB at 2298 Yuan (Rs.23,000/-) in China.
The new Vivo Z5 looks slightly different when compared with Vivo Z5x as it sports waterdrop display instead of punch-hole display. The new Vivo Z5 again comes with glossy back with probably having a glass back. It measures 8.13 mm thick and weighs around 187grams.
The new Vivo Z5 sports 6.38 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new Vivo Z5 is powered by SD712 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. It also features a MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion.
The new Vivo Z5 features triple rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, 1/2″ sensor, 0.8μm pixel size with 8MP 120-degrees Ultra-Wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. The device features a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM With Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Vivo Z5 runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.1 on top. It packs 4500 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
