Earlier we saw Asus officially confirming that the new Asus ROG Phone 2 will be the world’s first device powering the recently announced SD855+. Now the company has finally unveiled all the details of the new Asus ROG Phone 2 ahead of today’s launch. The new Asus ROG Phone 2 will arrive in Black colour and sadly, no details about pricing yet.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 comes with several accessories like AeroActive Cooler II, Aero Case, TwinView Dock II, ROG Kunai Gamepad, Mobile Desktop Dock, Pro Dock, WiGig Display Dock Plus and ROG Lighting Armor Case. The new Asus ROG Phone II weighs around 240 grams and is 9.78 mm thick.
The new Asus ROG Phone II will sport 6.59 inches 18:9 aspect ratio FHD+ 120Hz OLED HDR display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit HDR protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top. The new Asus ROG Phone II is the world’s fastest phone as it is powered by SD855+ SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
The new Asus ROG Phone II features Dual rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor having an aperture of f/1.79 coupled with 13M 125 degrees Ultra-wide angle camera with dual-LED flash. The device features a 24MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The device features Dual front-facing 5-magnet speakers with dual smart amplifier along with Quad-mics with noise cancellation.
The new Asus ROG Phone II comes with unique Air Triggers as there is no need to lift your fingers before tapping on display as it has vibration latency of 20ms, reduced by 68% from 63ms. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE support along with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ) / 802.11ad 60GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo(E1+E5a), QZSS(L1+L5), USB Type-C port, In-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm audio jack and DTS Headphone:X 7.1 virtual surround sound for headphone.
The new Asus ROG Phone II packs whopping 6000 mAh battery and comes with 30W HyperCharge Fast Charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie with ROG UI on top.

Asus has finally unveiled the pricing and availability details of the Asus ROG Phone II in China. The new Asus ROG Phone II with 8GB+128GB cost 3499 Yuan (Rs.35,100/-) and 12GB+512GB at 5999 Yuan (Rs.60,200/-) in China. The Asus ROG Phone II currently up on pre-orders and will go on sale from August.
