Earlier we saw Honor launching the budget or entry-level phone with Honor 8C in India. Now Honor has probably re-launched the Honor 8C as Honor Play 8 which comes with a similar design but downgraded specs in China. The new Honor Play 8 comes in Magic Night Black and Aurora Blue colour.
The Honor Play 8 is priced at 599 Yuan (Rs.5960/-) and is officially available for purchase in China. The new Honor Play 8 might soon land in India next. The new Honor Play 8 sports 5.71 inches HD+ waterdrop IPS LCD display. It comes with a polycarbonate back and measures 8.2 mm thick.
The new Honor Play 8 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot. The Honor Play 8 features a single rear camera with 13MP having an aperture of f/1.8 with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Honor Play 8 packs 3020 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.
