Redmi 7A

Earlier last month Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched the cheapest budget phone with Redmi 7A in China. Now Xiaomi has started teasing the new Redmi 7A which is expected to launch along with Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Pro in India.

Now Xiaomi CEO has taken Twitter and gave us the hint that the Indian variant of Redmi 7A will come with some better specs than one launched in China. Further, he has given hint that the feature is common between the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi A2 which indirectly comes to be the USB Type-C port.

Hence we can say that Redmi 7A might be the cheapest handset in India to feature USB Type-C port. Anyway, apart from that popular tipster has got the model number of the upcoming Android One phone Mi A3.

As per the source, there is still no sign of Redmi 7X so we can expect that the company has no plans of launching it this year instead they are preparing for new CC series. Hence the tipster has now claimed that the upcoming Xiaomi CC9 will be rebranded as Mi A3 for India and other Global markets. The Xiaomi CC9e might launch as Mi A3 Lite.
