Earlier we had few rumours about Xiaomi collaborating with Chinese phone brand Meitu that was acquired last year. Later Xiaomi CEO announced the first ever series that will be made specifically for youths with Xiaomi CC series where CC stands for Chic and Cool.
Now we have got the first renders showing the alleged Xiaomi CC9 which is rumoured to be the first device under th new Xiaomi CC series. From the renders, the new Xiaomi CC9 again features waterdrop notch instead of all-display front and comes with minimal bezels. The new Xiaomi CC9 will feature in-display fingerprint scanner which confirms that it will sport AMOLED display probably FHD+ resolution.
On the back, the new Xiaomi CC9 features triple rear cameras aligned vertically with LED flash. We can clearly see the mention of the 48MP camera probably using the same one found on Redmi Note 7 Pro with Sony IMX586. The power button and volume rockers are on the right side of the device.
Further, Xiaomi official has just shared the new promo video which leaks out the new Xiaomi CC series device which confirms the above-leaked renders are real. From the video, we can see the Xiaomi official using the upcoming Xiaomi CC series device having similar waterdrop display as shown above.
We also got the first image showing the top-model with Xiaomi CC9 which now features all-display front with almost thinner bezels and comes with physical earpiece just above the display. As per the source, the above-leaked image is of the Xiaomi CC9 but as per various leaks, the device will feature waterdrop notch.
Further, popular tipster has just revealed the specs of the upcoming Xiaomi CC9 & Xiaomi CC9e. As per the source, the new Xiaomi CC9 & Xiaomi CC9e will sport 6.39 inches and 5.97 inches FHD+ AMOLED waterdrop display both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The new Xiaomi CC9 is powered by SD730 SoC and not the SD712 coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage whereas the Xiaomi CC9e with SD710 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants. Both devices do feature IR Blaster and Hi-Res audio.
The new Xiaomi CC9 & Xiaomi CC9e will feature triple rear cameras but with different using the different sensor. As per the source, the new Xiaomi CC9 will feature 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor coupled with the 16MP and 12MP secondary and third sensor without OIS whereas the Xiaomi CC9e comes with 48MP primary Sony IMX582 sensor coupled with an 8MP secondary and 5MP third sensor with LED flash.
Both the devices use the same 32MP selfie shooter. The Xiaomi CC9 & Xiaomi CC9e comes with Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wifi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, USB Type-C port and NFC (Xiaomi CC9). The new Xiaomi CC9e packs lower 3500 mAh battery whereas the Xiaomi CC9 with 4000 mAh battery.
The new Xiaomi CC9e will be priced at 1599 Yuan (Rs.16,200/-), 1899 Yuan (Rs.18,300/-) and 2199 Yuan (Rs.22,300/-) whereas the Xiaomi CC9 starts at 2599 Yuan (Rs.26,400/-), 2799 Yuan (Rs.28,400/-) and 3099 Yuan (Rs.31,400/-) in China.
