Earlier we saw Samsung announcing the first 64MP camera sensor for smartphones. We also got a few rumours about Samsung to soon launch the 64MP camera smartphone under Galaxy A series. Later we got to know that even Xiaomi is working on the 64MP camera phone and will launch sooner than Samsung.
Now we have some new leaks which confirm the previous rumours about Xiaomi first 64MP camera phone. As per the source, they have found the mention of 64MP Ultra-Pixel camera mode on the new MIUI Camera app running on MIUI 10 China Developer ROM.
Further, the source also confirms that there is also mention of 64MP Dual camera over the watermark on the images. Anyway, Xiaomi is likely to use the Samsung first ever 64MP camera sensor with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1. The new sensor will offer better low-light photos with the help of new Samsung’s Pixel binning technology Tetra cell and Isocell Plus.
