Earlier we had tons of reports claiming that 2020 iPhones will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and will sport OLED panel. Now we have new rumours coming in from popular analyst Kuo who has earlier leaked few details about the 2020 iPhones.
According to Kuo, the new 2020 iPhones will sport 5.4 inches and 6.7 inches OLED display under the high-end segment and mid-range phone with 6.1 inches OLED display. Further, the iPhone with 5.4 inches and 6.7 inches launching in 2020 will come with 5G support whereas the 6.1 inches will set back with 4G LTE support.
As per the source, 5G will be commercial by 2021 and Apple is likely to launch its own 5G chip by 2022 or 2023. So Apple is all set to make one of the flagship iPhone compacts with smaller 5.4 inches which many of the fans waiting for and it is happening only in 2020.
