Earlier we had few reports about the new Huawei custom OS which will soon replace the Android OS on their devices due to US Ban. We also got to know that the Huawei custom OS will be named as Oak OS and was expected to launch in Aug 2019.
Now we have new reports coming from Guo Mingxi who claims that Huawei will launch the new Oak OS to its devices by this fall. So we can expect Huawei pushing out the new OS update by October 2019. Further, the new Oak OS will first hit to budget to mid-range devices and not make its debut with Huawei Mate 30 series.
Further, reports by Global Time states that the new Oak OS is been tested by Tencent representatives along with Oppo and Vivo which found to be 60% faster than Android OS. Sadly, the new Oak OS will be exclusive for China and will not hit Global markets as Huawei is still not ready with a good ecosystem.
