Earlier we saw tons of leaks and rumours about the so-called Redmi flagship the new Redmi K20 Pro & Redmi K20. Now the company has officially launched the new Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Pro in China. The new Redmi K20 & K20 Pro comes in Carbon Black, Flame Red and Glacier Blue colours. The new Redmi K20 will go on sale from June 6 whereas the K20 Pro from June 1.
The new Redmi K20 with 6GB+64GB cost 1999 Yuan (Rs.20,200/-) and 6GB+128GB at 2099 Yuan (Rs.21,200/-). The new Redmi K20 Pro 6GB+64GB at 2499 Yuan (Rs.25,200/-), 6GB+128GB for 2599 Yuan (Rs.26200/-), 8GB+128GB for 2799 Yuan (Rs.28,200/-) and 8GB+256GB at 2999 Yuan (Rs.30,300/-) in China.
Redmi K20 Pro:
Here is the Redmi’s first ever flagship phone probably the cheapest SD855 device with Redmi K20 Pro. The new Redmi K20 Pro comes with unique 3D curved design with the flame-like pattern on blue and red colours whereas unique kevlar gradient texture on black. The new Redmi K20 Pro weighs around 191 grams and is 8.8 mm thick.
The new Redmi K20 Pro comes with all-display design with 6.39 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED HDR display with a resolution of 2340*1080p. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The new Redmi K20 Pro is powered by SD855 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage.
The new Redmi K20 Pro features triple rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with an aperture of f/1.75, 0.8μm pixel size, 8MP OmniVision OV8856 telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 2x lossless zoom and 1.12μm pixel size along with 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 124.8° ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and 1.12μm pixel size with LED flash.
The new Redmi K20 Pro features 20MP pop-up-selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The pop-up camera has been successfully tested for 300000 times by Xiaomi engineers and takes just 0.8 sec to raise up or down. The new Redmi K20 Pro also features the latest 7th Gen optical In-display fingerprint scanner with a 3P lens. It still retains the 3.5 mm audio jack along with Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9340 Hi-Fi audio chip.
The other connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The Redmi K20 Pro packs the 4000 mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top.
