Earlier we saw few leaks claiming that Apple to relaunch the new iPod Touch a media-centric device later this year. Now Apple has officially launched the new Seventh Gen Apple iPod Touch in India. After almost gap of four long years, we finally have the new 7th Gen iPod Touch here which comes with the same internals as iPhone 7.
The new 7th Gen iPod Touch comes with some upgraded hardware along with additional features like the inclusion of augmented reality (AR) experiences which adds life to 3D objects along with Group Face Time that allows one to connect almost 32 peoples at once.
The new 7th Gen iPod Touch looks similar to the predecessor with thicker bezels and physical home button but no support for Touch ID. It is powered by Apple A10 SoC same one found on Apple iPhone 7 and comes with storage variant up to 256GB. The new 7th Gen iPod Touch will also get support for Apple Arcade and runs on iOS 12.
The new 7th Gen iPod Touch is priced at Rs.18,990/- for 32GB, Rs.28,900/- for 128GB and 38,900/- for 256GB storage variant. It will be available in multiple colours with Space Gray, Silver, Gold, Blue, Pink, and RED. The new iPod Touch is already up on sale through all leading Apple resellers.
