Earlier we saw the US Government put a ban on Huawei and Honor which also prevent them to use some of the Google services. Now Honor has announced the all-new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro in the UK. The new Honor 20 will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Icelandic White colours and Honor 20 Pro in Phantom Black and Phantom Blue.
The new Honor 20 with 6GB+128GB is priced at 499 Euros and Honor 20 Pro at 599 Euros with 8GB+256GB. The new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro will go on sale soon. The new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro will come with a glass back with a glossy back that features Dynamic Holographic Design that uses 3-layers so it gives a depth effect when the light hits the back at certain angles. Honor 20 measures 7.87 mm and Honor 20 Pro at 8.4 mm thick. The Honor 20 Pro & Honor 20 weighs 182 grams and 172 grams respectively.
The new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro will sport punch-hole display similar to Honor V20 and will arrive with 6.26 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display (2340*1080p). The earpiece will sit above the display on the frame. It will feature side-mounted fingerprint scanner similar to Galaxy S10e.
The Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro will be powered by Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Sadly, no option to expand the storage similar to Honor View 20. The Honor 20 will feature quad-rear cameras with 48MP primary AI Vision camera using Sony IMX586 Sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 along with 16MP 117 degrees Super Wide-angle lens (f/2.2), 2MP Depth sensor (f/2.4) and 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera with LED flash, AIS, EIS.
The Honor 20 Pro too features the same set of cameras as Honor 20 48MP primary AI Vision camera using Sony IMX586 Sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 along with 16MP 117 degrees Super Wide-angle lens (f/2.2), but comes with an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3x loss-less optical zoom along with 2MP (f/2.4) dedicated macro camera, AIS, EIS,PDAF and Laser AF.
The Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro arrive with 32MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter. The new Honor 20 will pack with 3750 mAh whereas Honor 20 Pro with 4000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support through USB Type-C port. The device runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top.
The Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro also features new Graphene Cooling sheet which offers 27% more heat dissipation and will also feature new GPU Turbo 3.0 for lag-free gaming. For Audio the duo comes with Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound, Dual-microphones, and Huawei Histen 6.0.
