Earlier HTC shared the list of devices getting the Android 9 Pie update. But it has been a while and we didn’t saw HTC rolling the new Android 9 Pie update to its devices. Now HTC has officially confirmed the exact timeline of the Android 9 Pie update hitting to your device.
As per the tweet, HTC U11 will be the first to get the Android 9 Pie update which is scheduled for May 2019 probably by end of this month. Later the new the HTC U11+ will start receiving the update by June 2019. Lastly, the Android 9 Pie update will hit to HTC U12+ by mid-June 2019.
Sadly, we still not sure about the exact date for the new Android 9 Pie update but we can expect it to happen soon. Looks like after LG it’s HTC to announce the Android 9 Pie update timeline and its too late for my liking.
