Earlier we had got few renders along with key specs leaked for the new Vivo Y17 which was scheduled for this month launch. Now Vivo has quietly launched the new Vivo Y17 in India. The new Vivo Y17 comes in two colours with Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple.
Sadly, Vivo has not revealed the pricing of the Vivo Y17 but one of the sources confirmed that the device is selling for Rs.17,990/- via offline retail stores.
The new Vivo Y17 comes with a glossy glass back with premium gradient finish which looks stunning. The new Vivo Y17 measures 8.92 mm thick and measures 190 grams. The Vivo Y17 sports 6.35 inches HD+ LCD display which is disappointing having a resolution of 720 × 1544p.
The new Vivo Y17 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with dedicated microSD card slot. The Vivo Y17 features triple rear cameras with the 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along with secondary 8MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Vivo Y17 comes with 20MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The Vivo Y17 comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, and fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo Y17 packs larger 5000 mAh battery and comes with 18W Dual Engine Fast charging tech. The device runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.0 on top.
