SD855 SoC

As per the source, the new SD855 was codenamed as SM8150 aka Hana and now we have a successor in works with SD865 which is internally called as SDM8250 with a codename Kona. The name Kona is derived from Hawaiian Island similar to earlier codename Hana. Further, the source also revealed that the new SDM8250 SoC does support the latest LPDDR5 memory standards whereas the SD855 still behind with LPDDR4X.

The source also got another chip with internal model number SDM55 codename as Huracan which is used on the same Development Test Platform which Qualcomm is working on. Further, we can confirm that it is the successor to X50 5G chipset with SDX55 5G modem which will be powering upcoming smartphones. So we can confirm that even on SD865 SoC there will be no built-in support for 5G modem similar to SD855.
