Earlier we saw Google announcing the new Android Q which is touted to be called Android 10.0 and has released two beta updates till date. As Android Q is still under development phase and we have new rumours popping out that Google might start working on the next iteration of Android with Android 11.0.
As per the source, Google has just announced its Android Global Developer Summit which is scheduled on Oct 24-27 at California. Apart from the Summit event details, nothing much about the alleged Android 11 has been mentioned, but as per the source, Google is likely to announce the next iteration of Android at the event.
Further, the source also claims that Google will likely call the Android 11.0 as Android R which will follow the alphabetical order as earlier we saw Android P then Android Q and now Android R. Sadly, we are still not sure what does the letter R stands for as we even not sure about Q too. Anyway, the Android Q will be announced at Google I/O later next month but will push to devices only in late Aug/Sept.
