Earlier we had enough leaks and rumors about a successor to compact phone iPhone SE with iPhone SE 2 which never happened till date. Now we have new rumors coming in which claims that Apple is planning to launch compact iPhone this year which might be called as iPhone XE.
As per the source, they have got confirmation from Foxconn manufacturing plant that the iPhone XE is none other than the upcoming iPhone SE 2. The source confirms that the new iPhone XE will come with iPhone X or iPhone XS like display with wider notch and will sport smaller 4.8 inches AMOLED display.
The new iPhone XE will come with FaceID feature and will no longer have the TouchID feature similar to other siblings. It will arrive with a similar rectangular design but will have an all-metal body and no glass back so no Wireless charging support.
The new iPhone XE will feature a 12MP single rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 similar to iPhone XR. The new iPhone XE is expected to powered by Apple A12 Bionic. Further, the source reveals that the new iPhone XE will cost as high as $600 and goes up to $800 based on storage variant.
Further, the new iPhone XE will be completely Make in India iPhone and we can expect the iPhone XR to soon go offline due to bad sales. The new iPhone XE is expected to launch sometime in Q3 2019.
