Earlier last month Google announced the much awaited next iteration of Android with Android Q first Beta that hit the Pixel devices. Now Google has started rolling out the second Beta of the Android Q which brings some more new features that were missing in the previous update.
With new Android Q Beta 2 update, a new feature called Bubble is added to the notification system. The Bubble is a floating app that can follow all over the OS from apps to setting panel allowing you to reply to messages no matter where you are in the Android Q. The Buuble feature is similar to Facebook messenger feature but its more advanced and simple to use. Google claims that the new Bubble feature will help to multi-task with Android Q and simultaneously chat with your loved ones.
The next addition is for the foldable smartphones, yes Google has added the new foldable device emulator named as Android Virtual device so that developers can write apps. Further, Google has also added two different hardware configurations one for Galaxy Fold that comes with 4.6 inches display and doubles up to 7.3 inches and other for Huawei Mate X which goes from 6.6 inches to 8.0 inches.
Further, the Android Q Beta 2 also adds the new API for developers the ability to choose a device microphone to use when recording audio. For example, one can use the front facing microphone for selfie video recording. The new API is available for Public and can develop apps.
