Earlier last year Realme promised that they would push the new Android 9 Pie by Q1/Q2 of 2019. As its almost end of Q1 we are still waiting for the roll-out to start. Now Realme has announced the timeline for the future Android Security updates including the new Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.0.
As per the source, Realme to start rolling out the April and May security update to Realme 2, 2 Pro, and C1 later this month and next month. Further, the new Android 9 Pie update with latest Color OS 6.0 on top will hit Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1 and Realme C1 starting from June 2019.
Sadly, we still not sure about the exact date for the Android 9 Pie update as it will be pushed once the firmware is free from bugs. Further, the post also mentions that all the devices will not get the update on same date as its OTA update it will take some time to roll the update to all the devices, but they will leave the firmware links so one can download and install the update.
