Earlier Oppo teased the world’s first 10x optical zoom camera phone which was later called the Oppo Reno. We also spotted the new Oppo Reno on Bluetooth SIG listing which revealed it will arrive with SD855 SoC along with 5G support. Now we have a new leak which gives details about various models under the Oppo Reno series.
Oppo has no filed trademarks with EUIPO for nearly five new names which come under the new Oppo Reno series. As per the trademarks, the five names are Reno Pro, Reno Plus, Reno Zoom, Reno Lite, and Reno Youth. All the five names are classified under Class 9.
As per the source, the new Oppo Reno Pro might be the top-end model with SD855 and 5G support. The Oppo Reno Plus might be a larger display or more memory/ storage variant which is expected to pack 4800 mAh battery along with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
The new Oppo Reno Zoom will be the first ever 10x optical zoom based camera smartphone which includes 48MP main sensor along with the secondary wide-angle lens and 8MP telephoto lens.
The next with Oppo Reno Youth which will be the trimmed down variant with low storage and RAM options. All the devices will run on Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.0 on top. All the devices will come with Breeno AI based voice assistant out of the box.
Further, Oppo official page shared the details about the new VOOC Charging 3.0. As per the post on Weibo, the new VOOC 3.0 fast charging instead of SuperVOOC charging due to physical requirement and more space for phone components.
