Earlier we saw few images leaked through the Brazillian certification which revealed the two models with Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot. Now Asus has quietly announced two new smartphones with Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Zenfone Max Shot in Brazil. The new Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot will come in silver, black, blue and red colors.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 is priced at BRL 1,299 (Rs.23,100/-) whereas the Zenfone Max Shot price starts from BRL 1,349 (Rs.23,400/-) and goes up to BRL 1699 (Rs.30,800/-). Both the devices are already up on sale in Brazil.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot comes with almost similar specs and design with all metal unibody and tiny display notch at the front. Both the new Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot will sport 6.26 inches IPS LCD FHD+ display (2280 x 1080p) with 2.5D Curved Glass Screen on top.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot becomes the World’s first smartphone to come with new Qualcomm Snapdragon SiP 1 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM on Max Plus M2 and 3GB/4GB RAM on Max Shot along with 32GB/64GB storage option. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon SiP 1 is the first ever chipset to feature system in a package which brings all necessary components in a single circuit and makes more space for other components like a huge battery.
In short the new Qualcomm Snapdragon SiP 1 SoC is equivalent to the SD450 SoC. The new Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 features Dual rear cameras with Sony IMX486 12MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8, AF along with 5MP depth sensor with LED flash.
Whereas the Zenfone Max Shot features triple rear cameras with Sony IMX486 12MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8, AF along with 5MP depth sensor and 8MP Wide-angle lens of 120-degrees with LED flash. Both the devices do feature 8MP selfie cameras with LED flash.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack. Both the new Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 & Max Shot packs 4000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
