Earlier we saw Nokia 6 (2017) receiving the new Android 9 Pie update. We also had few rumors about the Nokia 2 facing some issues with the Android 8.1 Oreo update and might be delayed further. Now Nokia has finally started pushing out the new Android 8.1 Oreo update to Nokia 2.
Nokia has closely worked with Qualcomm to enable some of the features of the Android 8.1 Oreo to the new Nokia 2 which came with just 1GB RAM. Anyway, one can receive the Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Nokia 2 by just clicking here and sign in to your Nokia account.
Next step it will ask to Validate the IMEI number and then enter the operator name. Further, add your location and select the Android Oreo for Nokia 2 software license terms. Once selected one can click on the receive the OTA update button to receive the Android 8.1 Oreo update.
