Earlier we had few rumors about Essential planning to quit the industry. Now the company has just filed a patent for the upcoming smartphone probably the successor to Essential PH-1 with Essential PH-2.
As per the source, the new patent filing reveals the design of the upcoming Essential PH-2. The new Essential PH-2 will feature selfie shooter hidden beneath the screen which is not like the Galaxy S10. So finally we have a camera hidden under the display and will not have a weird hole on display.
Sadly, the patent disappoints with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is something we didn’t expect. Further, we have Dual rear cameras aligned horizontally with LED flash. The new Essential PH-2 will sport almost bezel-less display without pop-up selfie camera which makes the device stand unique.
