Earlier this week we saw tons of leaks and rumors about the new sub-brand from Vivo with weird name iQOO. Now Vivo has finally unveiled the first gaming smartphone with new Vivo iQOO. The new Vivo iQOO comes in Electric Blue or Lava Orange colors. The new Vivo iQOO will go on flash sale from March 6 in China. The new Vivo iQOO is priced at 2998 Yuan (Rs.31,700/-) for the base 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB at 3298 Yuan (Rs.34,900/-) and 12GB+256GB at 4298 (Rs.45500/-) in China.
Vivo iQOO is the most powerful phone from Vivo till date. The new Vivo iQOO comes with glass back with glossy gradient back and measures 8.51 mm thick. It is slightly heavier at 195 grams. The new Vivo iQOO sports 6.41 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED waterdrop display with almost thinner bezels. It also gets the new UD fingerprint scanner.
The new Vivo iQOO is powered by SD855 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. The new Vivo iQOO features triple rear cameras with 13MP Sony IMX263 Ultra-wide camera with an aperture of f/2.4, a 12MP main Dual sensor with an aperture of f/1.79 and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
On the front, we have 12MP Dual sensor selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The Vivo iQOO is a gaming phone and comes with some cool features to boost the performance AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo which together called as Multi-Turbo.
New Multi-Turbo feature boost up the app start time by 30%, frame rates by 70% and also enables seamless 4G to Wifi switch for non-stop gaming. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
The new Vivo iQOO runs on Android 9 Pie on top of FunTouch OS 9.0. The new Vivo iQOO packs 4000 mAh battery along with whopping 44W fast charging support. The cheapest variant with 6GB+128GB will get the 22.5W fast charger.
