Earlier we got few concepts renders along with patent filings which revealed the upcoming foldable flip-phone with Moto Razr. Now Motorola’s Vice President of Global Product Dan Dery has just revealed few of the details about the upcoming Moto foldable smartphone.
As per the interview, Dery said that they have already begun working on the foldable phone a long time ago and will launch later than everybody else in the market. Further, he also told that there is a lot of iteration and also confirm that the upcoming foldable phone will inspire from the older Moto Razr phone.
Sadly, Dery didn’t reveal the exact launch date or timeline for the foldable phone but we can expect it will make its debut at the annual conference in Aug 2019. Further, Dery confirms that the new Moto foldable device will fold inwards and confirmed that they are trying out with plastic OLED panels with plastic film on top. So that the device display doesn’t get scratches easily.
Further, the Wall Street Journal also claims that the upcoming Motorola foldable phone will be priced $1500 which is lower than the Galaxy Fold and Mate X.
