Earlier we got the first glimpse of the new Mi 9 Explorer Edition which arrived with four cameras aligned vertically. Xiaomi also officially announced the launch date for the new Mi 9 series which is going to happen on Feb 20 in China.
Now Xiaomi co-founder claims that the new Mi 9 Explorer Edition to be the most powerful phone in the world through his Weibo post. Further, he also confirms that the new Mi 9 Explorer Edition to arrive with an extra camera on the back when compared with Mi 9.
So finally the leaked renders turn out to be true as the Mi 9 Explorer Edition to feature Galaxy A9 like quad camera setup. Apart from that, the new Mi 9 Explorer Edition might feature the similar transparent back as the Mi 8 EE.
Further, we also got the pricing details leaked for the new Mi 9 & Mi 9 Explorer Edition. As per the source, the new Mi 9 Explorer Edition will cost 3499 Yuan (Rs.37,000/-) whereas the transparent edition priced at 5999 Yuan (Rs.63,200/-). Further, the Mi 9 pricing starts from 2699 Yuan (Rs.28,500/-) which hight when compared with Mi 8.
Xiaomi new teaser also confirms that the Mi 9 will come with the smallest chin with just 3.6 mm thick. The new teaser was shared by none other than Lei Jun in Weibo.
