Earlier we got series of leaks and rumors about Google launching the mid-range Pixel with Pixel 3 Lite & Pixel 3 XL Lite. Today, new reports state that Google is also planning to enter the competitive budget smartphone market this year.
As per the report, Google is planning to bring the first Pixel under the mid-range segment specifically made for the price-sensitive markets. The price of the device will be lower than the iPhone XR but the price for high-end to the mid-range segment varies between $150-$749 whereas the cheapest or budget Pixel will cost lower than the $150 (Rs.10,700/-) as per the report.
The new product might give some boost for Google Hardware expansion as it will be launched along with the new devices like smart speakers, wearables, and cameras along with the new Pixel 4. Anyway, now Google wants to enter the budget segment which is the big news for brands like Xiaomi who has captured a major part of the budget segment.
