Xiaomi Mi 9

Earlier we had few concepts renders showing the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 which had dewdrop display. We also had few rumors about Xiaomi might introduce the Xiaomi Mi 9 on Feb 19 in China. Today, one of the sources has managed to capture the alleged Xiaomi Mi 9 in China.

Xiaomi Product Director Mr.Wang Teng had accidentally posted the image showing the new unknown Xiaomi device which was deleted later but some of the Weibo users managed to save the image which is rumored to be the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9.

From the image, we can see the new glossy glass back with triple rear cameras aligned vertically with LED flash. So now Xiaomi is moving from Dual camera to triple rear cameras with the new Xiaomi Mi 9 and will no longer feature rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which indirectly confirms the in-display fingerprint scanner on the Xiaomi Mi 9.

Apart from that, nothing much about the Xiaomi Mi 9 is leaked. Earlier we also got few images shot with alleged Penta-lens Cam which was later deleted by the same user. Anyway, apart from Xiaomi Mi 9, the company is also keen on launching the next gaming smartphone with Xiaomi Black Shark 2019.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had asked their fans about the expectation for the 2019 Black Shark so that he can share with Black Shark team. To which Black Shark CEO commented its too early for the successor as it is just 9 months passed for the original Xiaomi Black Shark.

With this post, we can confirm Xiaomi is currently working with Black Shark team to launch the successor to Xiaomi Black Shark which might be called Xiaomi Black Shark 2019. We can expect the device will be powered by SD855 SoC coupled with 10GB RAM.
