Earlier we had spotted the new A-series smartphone under trademark filings with Samsung Galaxy A50 along with A10, A20, and A30. Later the Samsung Galaxy A50 was spotted on Geekbench listing which revealed that the device is powered by Exynos 9810 SoC.
Today, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A50 has just passed through Wifi certification. As per the listing, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A50 is listed as SM-A505FN/DS which has been certified with both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Wifi band support.
Further, the SM-A505FN/DS will be Dual Sim smartphone and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. So with Galaxy M series is Samsung planning to introduce the new A-series in India soon? We have to wait for the official announcement.
Further, we also have got few rumors which claim that the upcoming three new A-series smartphones to feature in-display fingerprint tech. As per the source, the three A-series smartphone include the Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A90 which will ship with the in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy A90 will be the most premium model under A-series.
Further, the source also mentions that the three new A-series devices to feature optical in-display fingerprint scanner made by Aegis Technology. Apart from the three new A-series Samsung has also planned to introduce nearly six models which will feature a side or rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Further, the A-series devices might arrive with multiple cameras along with 3D TOF sensor in some models.
