Earlier Honor and Huawei announced the list of devices eligible to get the much-awaited EMUI 9 with Android 9 Pie on top. Now Honor has started rolling out the EMUI 9 OTA update to some devices in India.
Honor India has now started pushing out the new EMUI 9 update to Honor 10, Honor Play and Honor View 10 devices in India. The new OTA update brings the refreshed custom skin EMUI 9.0 which is 12% faster than the EMUI 8.0 and brings GPU Turbo 2.0, full-screen gesture support, HiVision Visual search, Password Vault, Wireless sharing and Digital Wellbeing.
The new OTA update weighs about 4GB in size and is recommended to download the update via a stable Wifi connection. Do note that the OTA update might take some time to hit your device as it is rolling out in batches.
