Alcatel has now unveiled two new budget-oriented smartphones with Alcatel 1x and Alcatel 1c Go Edition in the CES 2019. The new Alcatel 1x and Alcatel 1c Go Edition are already up on sale in the US and will later expand to Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The new Alcatel 1x is priced at $149.98 (Rs.10,600/-) whereas the Alcatel 1c at €70 (Rs.5,700/-).
The Alcatel 1x sports 5.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display covered with 2.5D curved DragonTrail glass on top for protection. The Alcatel 1c sports 5.0 inches display with a resolution of 480*960p having an aspect ratio of 18:9. Both the devices ship with a premium suede finish and minimalist slim design.
The new Alcatel 1x weighs 150 grams and measures 9.144 mm thick. The new Alcatel 1x is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card. The Alcatel 1c is powered by the unknown Quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot.
The Alcatel 1x features Dual rear cameras with 13MP main sensor along with 2MP depth sensor coupled with Dual LED flash. On the front, we have 5MP selfie camera with support for Face Unlock. The Alcatel 1c comes with a single rear camera with 5MP with LED flash and 2MP selfie camera.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE (only on Alcatel 1x), 3G (Alcatel 1c), Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and fingerprint scanner (Alcatel 1x). The new Alcatel 1x is running on Android 8.1 Oreo whereas the Alcatel 1c is running on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. The Alcatel 1x packs 3000 mAh battery.
