The annual electronic show aka CES 2019 is all here with amazing tech launches for 2019. Asus has upgraded their gaming laptops with ultra-slim ROG ZEPHYRUS S GX701 & Mothership GZ700 in CES. Sadly, Asus has not revealed the pricing and availability of the laptops but we can expect it to be priced higher segment. The new Mothership GZ700 will go on sale from Q2 of 2019.
ROG Mothership GZ700:
The new ROG Mothership GZ700 sports 17.3 inches FHD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rates, 3ms, Optimus, G-SYNC, and 100% sRGB color gamut. The new ROG Mothership GZ700 is powered by latest Intel Core i9-8950HK coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB VRAM.
The ROG Mothership GZ700 comes with 64GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM and 512GB SSD. It features a detachable keyboard with both wired and wireless modes with Per-key Aura Sync RGB backlighting and N-Key rollover. It features 4x4W speakers with Smart Amp technology Array microphone and weighs around 4.7 kgs.
The connectivity option includes 3 x M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200, 2×2 802.11ax Wi-Fi, HDMI 2.0, Thunderbolt 3, and Type-C USB ports, three USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and one Gen 1 and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs on Windows 10 Home edition out of the box.

The next gaming laptop ZEPHYRUS S GX701 ULTRA-SLIM is super slim and light in weight as the name suggests. It sports same 17.3 inches FHD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rates, 3ms, Optimus, G-SYNC, and 100% sRGB color gamut.
The new ROG ZEPHYRUS S GX701 ULTRA-SLIM is powered by latest Intel Core i7-8750H coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design with 6GB VRAM or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 VRAM depending on the variant.
The new ZEPHYRUS S GX701 ULTRA-SLIM ships with 8GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM and support for 24GB along with 3X4 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe, M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x2 512GB / 1TB SSD. The connectivity option includes 802.11ac 2×2 WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0.
It features a detachable keyboard with both wired and wireless modes with Per-key Aura Sync RGB backlighting and N-Key rollover. It weighs around 2.7 kgs and features Sonic Studio III for better audio.
