The app was launched by 43 government departments which grant 150+ govt services and by end of 2019 more than 1200+ services with 200 govt department granting access to the app.The app has been integrated with AADHAR, DigiLocker, Rapid Assesment and Bharat Bill Payment system.The app was announced in last year by Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology and aim of the app is to address the issues of the municipality.
The UMANG App has support for 10 regional languages for now and will be added some more regional languages in coming weeks.The app comes with major services like PAN, Passport, Bharat and HP Gas, Indane Gas, Tax payments, Digi Sevak, GST, ePatashala, EPFO, NPS, DigiLocker, and many more services.You can even check the CBSE results via the app and if you are connected via AADHAR card to the app one can even pay taxes, book cylinder, alter pension and even read E-books.
