Earlier we had few rumors about Nokia delaying the much awaited Android 9 Pie to boost the sales of the recently launched Nokia 8.1. Now the company has finally started rolling out the new Android 9 Pie update to Nokia 8.
Nokia CPO Juho Sarvikas just announced the festive good news with Android 9 Pie update for Nokia 8 on Twitter. As per the tweet, the OTA update will start hitting the Nokia 8 from today but in a phased manner.
Anyway, the new update might take a bit longer to hit your Nokia 8 as it will be pushed in batches so keep patience. We hope the new update fixes all the bugs and will also get the latest Dec security patch along with Android 9 Pie.
