Earlier OnePlus announced they are entering the entertainment market with smart TV’s and also confirmed the first OnePlus TV will hit the market early 2019. Now we have some bad news for those who were waiting for OnePlus TV as the company delayed the launch further.
As per the interview with Pete Lau through ET, CEO confirmed that the first OnePlus TV will make its debut now in 2020 and not in 2019. Further, he stated that India will be the first country to get the OnePlus TV by 2020. Sadly, Pete Lau didn’t reveal much about the TV in the interview.
We can expect the upcoming OnePlus TV to run on Android TV OS and will come with some smart features. The new OnePlus TV will again be exclusive to Amazon in India. Currently, OnePlus is collecting necessary feedback for its OnePlus TV and we have to wait longer for the smart TV to hit Indian markets.
