Samsung launched the all-new Infinity displays with Infinity Display-O at SDC2018. Later we had various leaks and rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy A8s to be the first to ship with the new Infinity-O display.
Now Samsung has officially shared the teaser which confirmed that the new Samsung Galaxy A8s will be the world’s first smartphone to come with a display hole. Yes, the teaser shows the front view of the device which features the new Infinity-O display. Above the display, we have an earpiece and we have the traditional metallic sides with antenna bands running over the top and bottom of the device.
On the right, we have the Power button along with Volume rocker whereas on the left we have additional Bixby button which we find only in premium Samsung devices so we can expect the new Samsung Galaxy A8s will be a premium Galaxy.
Anyway, we also have Huawei Nova 4 with the same display which is scheduled to launch on Dec 17 but the new Samsung Galaxy A8s will launch earlier on Dec 10 in China. As per the source, the new Samsung Galaxy A8s and Huawei Nova 4 will sport same BOE made LCD display with a hole.
