Nokia has now launched the new Nokia 7.1 in India which was unveiled last month. The new Nokia 7.1 comes in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel colors. The new Nokia 7.1 will go on sale from Dec 7 via Nokia.com and all leading offline stores across India. The new Nokia 7.1 is priced at Rs.19,999/- in India.
The launch offers include free 1TB of 4G data from Airtel prepaid users for plans above Rs.198/- whereas the postpaid users will get additional 120GB 4G data along with six months Netflix subscription and one year Amazon Prime subscription for Rs.499, HDFC Credit/Debit card users will get 10% cashback on purchasing the smartphone through leading stores via Pinelabs terminals.
The new Nokia 7.1 is made out of 6000 series Aluminium frame with diamond-cut colored chamfers and glass back which gives a premium feel. The Nokia 7.1 weighs 160 grams and is 7.99 mm thick. The new Nokia 7.1 sports 5.84 inches FHD+ PureDisplay having an aspect ratio of 19:9 with HDR 10 support and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by the SD636 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 400GB. The new Nokia 7.1 features 12MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, the pixel size of 1.28um, Dual PD, AF, and Dual LED flash, the secondary monochrome sensor of 5MP with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.12um pixel size and Fixed focus.
The Nokia 7.1 features 8MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and also doubles up as AI based Face Unlock. The new Nokia 7.1 also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
All this is fueled by 3060 mAh battery with fast charging support and runs on Android 8.1 which will be upgraded to Android 9 Pie in coming weeks.
