Realme the new entrant and sub-brand of Oppo has taken the Indian market by its cheaper price to performance ratio offering and competing with brands like Xiaomi. Now the company is looking to hike the prices for its recently launched Realme smartphones soon.
As per the tweet by Realme CEO Madhav Seth, the company is looking to hike up the prices after Diwali due to weaker Rupee Value when compared to USD. So after Xiaomi hiking up the prices for few of its devices we now have the second Chinese brand following and might hike the prices of the smartphones soon.
So looks like weaker Rupee value might force all the Chinese brands to hike the prices further doe their launched products. So would you buy any of the Chinese smartphones after the hike from the originally launched pricing? Do leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
