Sony has now shared the list of Sony Xperia devices which will soon get the latest Android 9 Pie update. Earlier we saw Sony pushing the new Android 9 Pie update to the Sony Xperia XZ2 & Xperia XZ2 Compact. Now we finally have the roadmap for the list of eligible devices for Android 9 Pie update.
As per Sony, the new Android 9 Pie update will first hit to last year flagship Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium, Sony Xperia XZ1, & Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact on Oct 26. 2018 launched Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium will receive the update on November 7.
Sony will also bring the new Android 9 Pie to some mid-ranger launched this year with Sony Xperia XA2, Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus by March 4, 2019. Sony clearly mentions that the OTA update will hit in batches which might take some time to hit your device so keep patience.
