Samsung India has finally launched the OnePlus 6 competitor with Samsung Galaxy A8 Star in India. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star will be available in Midnight Black and Ivory White colors. It is priced at Rs.34,990/- and will go on sale via Amazon starting from today.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star:
The new Samsung Galaxy A8 Star comes with premium looks and is made out of metal and glass. It is probably the successor to Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro which was launched in 2016. It weighs around 188 grams and is 7.55 mm thick.
The super slim Samsung Galaxy A8 Star sports larger 6.28 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
It features 24MP+16MP dual rear camera with Dual Tone Dual LED flash. It comes with 24MP selfie camera which also features Face unlock. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C Port, fingerprint scanner, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
All this is fueled with 3700 mAh battery with fast charging support and runs on Android 8.0 with Samsung Experience UI on top.
