Xiaomi is well known for cheaper smartphones with better specs and its crowdfunding has now announced a new 4G feature phone from third party brand Shenzhen Duojiao Technology Co., Ltd. Xiaomi has just launched its first feature phone Qin 1 & Qin 1s through Youpin its crowdfunding website in China.
The new Qin 1 & Qin 1s are the first feature phone to come with AI support which offers multi-lingual voice transalations. Both the Qin 1 & Qin 1s look identical and the only difference is that the Qin 1 is 2G only phone whereas the Qin 1s is 4G LTE along with 3G and 2G networks.
The new Qin 1 & Qin 1s are 8.5 mm thick. It sports 2.8 inches 240x320p IPS grade screen protected with Corning Gorilla glass for protection. It comes with T9 numeric keypad which we found on any feature phone on the market.
The Qin 1 & Qin 1s are Dual SIM device and also feature IR blaster which can act as a remote control for TV, AC etc. It comes with Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C port. The Qin 1 & Qin 1s is powered by Nucleus MT6260A and Mocor5 SC9820E chipset coupled with 8MB RAM and 16MB storage, 256MB RAM and 512MB storage respectively.
The Qin 1 & Qin 1s features 140 mAh battery which lasts for 15 days on a single charge and can transalate up to 17 langauages with the help of AI. The Qin 1 & Qin 1s will be available from Sept 15 and is priced at 199 Yuan (Rs.2000/-) in China.
