On April 28th, CMF Phone 2 Pro will be launched along with CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. CMF will also launch its new products in global markets. 91mobiles exclusively revealed the specifications, design, and price range of CMF Buds 2 before their announcement.

Design:

According to tipster Sudhanshu, the CMF Buds 2 look similar to their predecessor. We see a square-shaped carry case with the iconic wheel design and CMF by Nothing branding. When you open the carry case lid, you can see the TWS earbuds. Additionally, there is a button, perhaps for pairing.

The CMF Buds 2 earbuds have an angled, in-ear stem design. A microphone appears to be used for noise cancellation and taking calls. Charger pins are located on the stem of the earbuds. Three colours will be available for the CMF Buds 2: black, orange, and green.

Specs:

The CMF Buds 2 have the same in-ear design as the predecessor, with a stem and silicone ear tips. They are dust—and water-resistant, with an IP54 rating. Besides the square-shaped case, the TWS earphones also come with the brand’s aluminum alloy dial, which can be attached to various lanyards.

The CMF Buds 2 come with an 11mm Dynamic Driver PMI Diaphragm, and sound is tuned by Dirac Opteo. They have 48dB ANC and transparency mode. Four microphones provide clear call quality. Dirac tuned HD audio in the TWS earphones. Additionally, they reduce wind noise. CMF Buds 2 are said to have a battery life of 55 hours (with case) and 13.5 hours for earbuds. The batteries can be charged via USB Type-C, taking 93 minutes to recharge fully.

The earbuds are expected to be equipped with the latest technology, including Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, spatial audio, and an HRTF-based algorithm. Clear Voice Technology 3.0 (AI-powered) and Wind Noise Reduction 3.0 are also said to deliver crystal-clear audio.

In addition to the ChatGPT voice assistant (via the Nothing X app), the CMF Buds 2 could have an IP55 water and dust resistance rating. With Bluetooth 5.4 technology, the earbuds are compatible with Android and iOS devices. In-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair are said to be supported.

Pricing:

According to Sudhanshu, CMF Buds 2 will be priced at EUR 59 (around Rs 5,800). The original CMF Buds was launched in India at a price of Rs 2,499.
