Multiple rumours have already been circulating about Apple’s iPhone Fold launch price. Some suggest it will cost between $2,000 and $2,500, while others speculate $2,300. Instant Digital believes the device will cost between $2,100 and $2,300.
According to the post, Apple’s current profit margins were used to estimate the price. This would make Apple’s first foldable nearly twice as expensive as its current top-of-the-line iPhone 16 Pro Max, which begins at $1,199. It would also position it above Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6 ($1,900) and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold ($1,800).
Samsung is rumoured to supply the 5.5-inch cover display and the 7.8-inch flexible main panel for Apple’s iPhone Fold next year. Apple is expected to release a liquid metal hinge stronger than titanium. According to reports, the foldable iPhone will measure 4.5 – 4.8mm unfolded and 9 – 9.5mm folded.
