Since last week, the Google Pixel 10 has been leaking quite often. CAD renders of the device turned into significant spec leaks. The standard model reportedly gets a tri-camera setup with an additional telephoto lens, joining the other two devices.

In the most recent leak, Android Authority claims to have obtained internal documents revealing Google Pixel 10 camera changes. This year, Google will finally shake things up with its standard flagship model, at least in terms of its camera.

Most base models come with a wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lens. According to these leaked specs, it might get a third telephoto lens, and the tech giant will allegedly downgrade the whole camera setup to accommodate it.

According to reports, the Pixel 10’s primary sensor will be replaced by a Samsung GN8 sensor smaller than the Pixel 9’s GN1 sensor.

Similarly, the ultrawide lens was downgraded to a Sony IMX712 from an IMX858,” the publication reports, noting that it will have a lower resolution at 13MP. There’s a noticeable difference between this camera and last year’s 48MP ultrawide camera. According to the publication, the new telephoto lens will have an 11MP resolution and a Samsung 3J1 sensor, similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Meanwhile, the front-facing camera specs remain the same, with 11MP.

No camera upgrade for the Pixel 10 Pro series:

Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are rumored to keep the same camera specs as last year. However, the primary lens of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may be changed slightly. According to the publication, the Sony IMX787 (used in the Pixel 8a) will be replaced with the Samsung GN8 (used in the Pixel 9a).

However, all three phones will reportedly retain their predecessors’ designs and be powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 SoC chip. Other leaks have indicated that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may be offered at a “lower price point” than last year and powered by the Tensor G5.

The specs of these leaks are not guaranteed to appear on the device, so take them with a grain of salt.
