It has been announced that Acer smartphones will soon be available on Amazon India. According to the updated page, Acer will officially announce its new phones on April 15. Indkal Technologies, a company with a trademark licensing agreement with Acer Incorporated, the global ICT giant known for its innovation and quality products, is handling the launch. Indkal will design, manufacture, and distribute Acer smartphones for the Indian market.

Acer’s upcoming 5G-enabled smartphone will have a triple rear camera with a 64-megapixel Sony sensor. The primary camera is expected to be accompanied by an ultra-wide lens and a macro or depth sensor – a combination seldom seen in this price range.

Acer appears ready to challenge expectations with a high-quality triple camera system in a market where smartphones have been scaling back to dual-lens modules.

According to our sources, Sony’s 64-megapixel sensor offers excellent image quality even in low-light conditions. The device will also include a number of AI-based photo enhancements, including noise reduction, edge detection, vivid color tuning, and better front camera image processing across a range of lighting conditions.

Acer’s decision to go with a capable triple-lens setup backed by AI may help it carve out a niche in the crowded 5G budget market. If executed well, this could mark a strong beginning for Acer’s smartphone journey in India.
