The Redmi A5 (4G) went official in Bangladesh earlier this month, but the device has not been listed on Xiaomi Bangladesh’s official website. Redmi has officially launched the Redmi A5 in Indonesia, offering a budget-friendly smartphone with a large display, capable cameras, and a long-lasting battery.

The new Redmi A5 will sport a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by a Unisoc T7250 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. There is also a microSD card slot.
It features a 32MP main rear camera with LED flash, a VGA depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. The device also packs a 5200 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 15 Go Edition without any custom skin on top. The device measures 8.26 mm thick and weighs 193g.

In Indonesia, the Redmi A5 (4G) is available in Midnight Black, sandy gold, and Lake Green. Xiaomi’s official online and offline channels across the country sell the device for IDR 1,199,000 (Rs.6,800/-).
