Vivo launched its V50 smartphone in India last month and plans to release a V50 Pro and V50 Lite model soon. Nonetheless, a new leak has emerged confirming the design of the new Vivo V50e model and the timeline for its release in India.
According to 91Mobiles, an industry insider shared a rendering of the upcoming Vivo 50e model. The new Vivo V50e also has a design profile similar to the Vivo V50. There is a pill-shaped dual camera module on the back and LED ring lighting. According to the report, this smartphone will be launched in the Indian market sometime in April 2025.
According to GeekBench AI, the Vivo V50e has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It has 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 15 OS with FuntouchOS 15 skin pre-installed. It features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP front-facing camera. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera on the rear.
The device may support 90W wired fast charging and has a large 5,600mAh battery pack. Vivo V50e will be available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
